The 1000 stirring bars Alceste are made of 100% birch wood. The rods are 14cm long and shatterproof, because the surface was carefully polished by machine without additions.

Wood cutlery makes ecological sense, because wood is a renewable raw material , environmentally friendly and naturally biodegradable . Birch wood is naturally light and therefore does not need to be bleached.

The wood is FSC certified , which means it comes from sustainable forestry .

Disposal:

You can dispose of the stirrers over the compost or over the bio bin . Please keep in mind that only domestic quantities can be disposed of via the biobin.
